Mummy's Star was set up in June 2013 to support pregnant women through cancer and beyond. The charity is run by volunteers who have first hand experience either on a personal or professional level of this situation. It is the only charity of its kind in the UK and Ireland.

Mummy's Star provide advice on cancer diagnosis in pregnancy and links women with localised services.

Mummy's Star advocate on behalf of families incluiding support to hospital appointments, assisting with benefit entitlement, Working with organisations who can provide additional support.

Mummy's Star provide small emergency grants for families to support them, often this can be support in the home, travel costs, to cover loss of earnings to enable the partner to attend hospital appointments, to memory making and family holidays in the event of a terminal diagnosis.

Mummy's Star offer a peer support online forum.

Mummy's Star offer further family support in the event of the womans death.
